We specify European larch (Larix decidua) and Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) for decking, pergolas, and structural elements. Larch offers natural rot resistance comparable to tropical hardwoods without the environmental cost.
All timber is kiln-dried to 18% moisture content, planed on four sides, and treated with Osmo UV-protective oil in your choice of natural, grey, or anthracite tones.
Stone gives terraces their permanence. We source primarily from Austrian quarries — Hallein limestone for warm cream tones, Tauern gneiss for grey-green character, and occasional Nordic granite for high-wear surfaces.
Stones are hand-selected for colour consistency, cut to 30–40 mm thickness for paving, and laid on a flexible bedding mortar to accommodate micro-movement.
